What's In A Name?

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet..."

Okay, folks! You requested an opportunity to chip in on the baby naming process, so here's your chance! Click on the "Comments" link and give us your favorite (or most amusing). You can submit as many ideas as you'd like.

But, of course, here's the fine print: we promise to read each one, but we don't promise to use any of them. (And given that one of the names already submitted was Bobby Jon Jimmy, that's probably a good thing! We wouldn't want this little fellow to be primed to be the next star of Talladega Nights before he's even born, would we?!)

Have fun. We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Ahh...now I'm leaning back towards Kaiser or Wilhelm. A lot of character right there.

But really, you know I like Bobby, minus the Jon Jimmy. We can always add those later.

Love love the photos of baby. And of you, Em, and of Marley the big brother. Thanks guys.

Hmmmm.....I am going to dig deep into the family cache of names to offer up some real winners: Bimbo, Derwood, Clyde, or Bert. Wow! That Silvers family really knows how to choose names that will guarantee a beating on the school yard, don't they?

Thanks for coming to our shin-dig last night Lemon. I am so thankful you were there! We missed you too Dave :)

Ok, I am going to give away my favorite name for a boy. Kimberly will not let me use it if we have a boy, so you have my blessing to use it. The name is smooth and lots of fun to say. It just roles off your tongue. It is classic and biblical. The name: Amminadab. Say it aloud. See, it is fun to say.

Of course, if that does not suit you, then you could name him after a some great basketball player. I would recommend the name Earvin "Magic", but that is my preference. Maybe you could name him after some great basketball player from Idaho. Does the Potato State have any basketball legends? :)

Thanks for keeping us up to date with the blog!
Love and blessings,
Jeremy and Kimberly and Abigail

Dave & Emily,
We are so excited for you guys! Wish we saw you more now that you are so close! Congrats on the baby boy news... I hadn't heard that yet... Robert doesn't tell me anything. I noticed two things... 1. you found out you were pregnant on Robert's birthday and 2. Emily, we have the same doctor! :) Congrats again, and hopefully we'll get to hang out with you guys soon.

i love all our nephews' names...jackson, jude and william wallace. jack's middle name, tucker is cool too. and i'm a big fan of joshua, i think joshua david jones has a nice ring to it:) i don't know if i ever told you our story but we had a different girl name picked out, abigail, but lee named his daughter that and i thought it would be weird for mom's only 2 grandchildren to have the same name:) but a good friend of ous, josh actually, challenged us to ask God what her name was and He answered:) and i couldn't imagine her with any other name, she really is hannah. love, mb
