And Now, For My Next Trick...

(April 17)

The Boys Outside

We are SO ready for spring and more good weather!

My New Favorite Picture

(April 10) Noah was in the front room on his play cushion/blanket & I was in the kitchen talking to him. Dave snapped this picture as he was smiling up at me. That's the most amazing feeling, when he looks at me like that...

...And Now I'lI Sit!

(April 10) Last week, while he was crawling/scooting around, Noah just up & decided that he would come to a stop & sit up. A first! And Dave caught in on camera! So now we put him on his play cushion, and he almost immediately sets off for another part of the room. He'll scoot, sit, and find a new place to play.

Kickin' It

When he's not on the move, Noah is making the most of his relaxing time. Now, when I give him a bottle, he wants to do it himself - he leans back, holds it in one hand, and usually plays with his feet with the other. He is something!

On The Move!

(April 8) Noah has started crawling! Actually it's more like a backwards/frog-type/scooting motion. But it's effective! The other day, he started out on the cushion & ended up over by the door before I knew it.
And then later on, he backed himself into a corner. Oh goodness, here we go!

4 Generations

2 weeks ago, we visited Dave's family for the weekend and finally got a picture of 4 generations of Jones men: Grandpa Bob, Dave's Dad Ronald, Dave & Noah. Amazing!

Time for Spring!

On one of our first nice days this spring, Dave called me at work to report that he and the boys were outside, enjoying the day. Noah and Marley had a great time playing in the sun! We can't wait to enjoy more lovely days like this!

Water, water everywhere

We've been trying to get Noah to drink more water lately. We have 3 different, very cool little sippy/no-spill cups for him, but wouldn't you know it: he likes big-people glasses much better. He actually insists on grabbing the sides while he drinks, and he usually ends getting the water all over himself (and us)! And it's so cute - he often decides to lick the water instead of drinking it.

And thanks to Grandpa Redman and Grandma Jones (who encouraged the behavior!), he usually ends up trying to stick his whole arm in the glass to play in it. I never knew that having a glass of water could be such a production!

WAHOOOOOO, KU!

April 7 was one of the greatest days ever!

That was the Monday that we cheered on our University of Kansas Jayhawks to a Championship Title win in the NCAA tournament. KU has been waiting for that moment for 20 years (since they won in 1988 with Danny Manning). It was an amazing, fast-paced game, and we were on the edge of our seats all the way through regulation to overtime. And when it was over, Bill Self & KU cut down the net! Gotta love it.

Here are a few pictures of Noah & Dave watching the game. Of course, Noah was the lucky charm - he wore his KU outfit every time they played in the tournament (6 games). Don't worry: he'll have another outfit for next year!!

Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
