They did it, they did it, they finally did it!!!
KU's basketball team won their game today, so they're on to the Final Four for the first time in 5 years! We've been waiting a long time for this, and after years of upsets & disappointments in the NCAA tournament, our team finally pulled through. I am SO excited!
Months ago, my parents decided that Noah would need to be appropriately dressed for March Madness this year, so they got him his first official KU outfit. It's so incredibly cute that I took a million pictures!
And of course, I've been sporting my Kansas wear, too. Noah & I wear our Kansas shirts every time our boys play. I'm certain that Noah is the ticket to their winning this year - he's their lucky charm! (I've been running special loads of laundry to be sure that his outfit is clean & ready for each game day!)

First Easter Basket!
My folks were visiting during their spring break, and they gave Noah his first Easter basket a few days before Easter. So of course, we had to get proper documentation: about 30 pictures on 2 cameras & some video footage! (A special thanks to the Shabels in Long Beach for this adorable outfit!)
Noah particularly liked the cell phone that talks in both English and Spanish. Of course, he had to eat it immediately. (I'm sure that was your first reaction to your new cell phone, too: "How does this thing taste, anyway?!")

Marley the Conehead
Poor Mars! For St. Patrick's Day, he got a trip to the vet & a cone on his head (he had a sore that he wouldn't stop scratching). He moped around for quite awhile & couldn't keep from running in to us, the cabinets, everything...but he's adjusted & is almost finished with his cone-sentence. He's still cute, though!
Mmm...Apples!
Little Linus
Finally, Teeth!
Noah has been teething for a long time (it seemed like he started on week 10 or something!) We would check his mouth all the time, but no go! Dave would often say, "Where are they coming from, China?!"
And then, earlier this month, the first 2 started cutting through. By May 10, they were present for a first picture!
Here's a closeup. Aren't they cute?

Whose Idea Was This?!
(March 10)
Someone - I didn't quite catch his name (but his initials are David Jones) - decided to work with Noah on pulling his stomach off of the floor (he was already pulling his legs up under him). He hasn't crawled yet, but we often find him rocking back & forth on all fours. I keep telling him not to hurry (I'm not ready for this kid to go mobile yet!)

Our Little Fish
On March 8, we decided to finally take advantage of our Idaho Athletic Club membership (yes, that's a different story altogether...I'm such a sucker!) So we went for "family swim" time! Noah wasn't too pleased at first - he seemed scared at all of the water & loud noises from the other kids - but then he calmed down & really loved it. He's a natural - he can't wait to spend the summer in Grammie & Grandpa Redman's pool!
...And We're Back!
Goodness, it's been almost a month since I last posted anything! Noah is growing like a little weed & we've taken lots of pictures; we've just been too busy watching NCAA basketball to do any blogging. But the games are over for the evening, so I'll share a few updates...
